We have built up a personal relationship with most of our clients, because we go that little bit further than anyone else. From full house moves to collection of single items such fridges, cookers, sofas, or beds, we store items for limited times for delivery at a later date we also we do store pickup and deliveries from other retail companies which can sometimes work out more than the stores own delivery charges. Our dream is that great service and friendly dynamic staff can greatly give all the advantages of having a van without actually having to own one, give peace of mind, and reduce stress. We use webbing ties, ratchet straps, and blankets to assure your property is guarded at all times as not to scratch, or harm them, also we are quick but also thoughtful with your goods. Postponement or Cancellation
If you postpone or cancel after your booking is confirmed you will be charged 50% of the confirmed quote. If you postpone or cancel within 24 hours of the date of the job you will be charged the value of the job in full.
We will do our best to arrive within the time scale stated, however arrival times are estimated. Delays to pick-up/delivery times are sometimes unavoidable (due to traffic accidents, weather etc). We do not accept any responsibility for any customer loses due to unforeseen or out of our control delivery/pick-up delays.
Changes In Item Numbers or location
You may incur extra charges if the actual amount of items on the day exceeds the amount of items that were included in your quote, a couple of boxes more would not normally cause an issue, however if you have under-estimated your items by more than this the driver will add on an extra charge. Also if any items have to be unloaded into garages, sheds. Lofts will incur extra charges.
Your Packing Responsibilities
We accept no responsibility for damage or breakage to items that have not been packed and protected by adequate means. It is the customers responsibility to dismantle any unit/system/flat pack furniture and this should be done before our arrival. Please ensure items such as washing machines are drained fully before moving as these can easily leak during transport and you may incur extra charges if the liquids soil the van and require cleaning.
You will incur extra charges if you have not informed us of awkward access. Awkward access can include, no vehicle access, no parking available in close proximity to the property and cramped stair and hallway conditions where large items of furniture such as sofas will not fit. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that items will fit in the new premises (for example, size of sofa and size of aperture). Our drivers will not be insured to remove doors or windows in such cases and it is up to the customer to organise a specialist if needed. Please remember that our vans may not fit where an average car will such as narrow roads with tight corners and may be too high to fit in underground
We have the right to refuse any items deemed unsafe or unsuitable for carriage such as hazardous waste and animals.
Please check all goods for damages at delivery point. We will not be liable for any damages after we leave the delivery premises. If your goods are damaged by our workers. There is a damages form in all our van this must be signed by both parties agreeing to the damage caused.
